The remains of the oval decal on the back of the fuel tank identify it as being distributed and sold in Canada by Cockshutt Plow Company, Brantford, Ontario. Cockshutt sold the Allis 20-35 from 1928 into the mid thirties. They also sold the Allis 'U' from '29 to '44. `

I might have some Lit. on the Cockshutt branded 20-35, I'll have to look. I know that there is some lit regarding Nichols and Shepard selling 20-35's and 15-25's in the safe.

There is a book called “Cockshutt the Complete Story”. This book has some good information on this subject.
