get some cork gasket sheet an cut out a new one made some not hard' to do.

Yes you can, if you don't mind all the blue goo ending up clogging up your pickup screen and in turn ruining your motor.  That's why there are gaskets available for installing an oil pan.  If a job is worth doing, DO IT RIGHT.
If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere.

And Don would have suggested to pull the engine, if you haven't already. Its the best way to get a good fix on sealing up the bottom end of these old engines. And don't forget the F gaskets!

Working on my late Father's WD, how do I know which gasket set?  Seems like one set has the F pieces and one the C pieces... thanks in advance!
