We have a 74 AC 200 with approximately 6,000 hours on it, doesn't seem to use any oil and runs strong still, but under load holds oil pressure right about 25-28 pounds, which I believe should be more like 40 pounds. Recently the injectors started to leak a little oil and there are a few leaks out of the pan. Is it time for a rebuild? What should the oil pressure be under load? Thanks Don |

Maybe just check your oil pump out and also your bearings. If the bearings are worn but the crank is in good shape then just roll in new bearings for now. If there are a lot of hours on the injectors then it might be a good idea to install rebuilt injectors.
