Possibly for sale. Needs an overhaul, most likely the works, sleeves, pistons, rings, bearings and head work. Otherwise a good survivor and has been in use from new until now. I'm thinking in the $1500 range, is that too low?
If someone is willing to go higher I would be willing to pass along some contact information. Located near Nashville, IL.

I think tires and rims would add a lot to the equation there John. At today's prices you could have $2200 in new tires and rims. I Know I won't out bid you on it.

just paid 356.00 for new rims and tires for the front of my D-17.Back tires were priced at 909.00 each for rubber(I bring the tires to them).Backs are still in OK shape so I will wait.Yah new tires and rubber can set you back.Tractors with good rubber are going to increase in value.

I guess I'd be short of the new rear rims then Pat. It's kinda hard to keep up with rubber prices these days.

I'd buy it at 1500, so I say go for it, you can find used rear rubber, every once in a while.
