Does anyone know what decals a 1948 C have.A long straight decal or a decal where the A and the S are longer than the rest of the decal.Thanks John.

It should be long A and S and in 1948 it should be black.

I just checked Maple hunter decal listings and they dont have the long a and s in black,only in blue.I dont know if lyle wacker has them.

blue decals up too an include 1948 swinfords book then went to black we have the decals with long A&S 1-800-254-3116

I have 3 different books that show 1944 is the year they went to black. All depends on which book the Correct Police are using when they catch you.

I was under the impression that the change from Blue to Black was just before the end of WWII... about 1944.

My 48' B originally had Black straight letters all the way across the hood. You could just barely make em' out. I installed the Blue long A and S instead. Just preference...
