I've owned a 1969 Gas for about 5 years. I was looking at the serial number on the frame yesterday and realized it ends in "XTD"- logic would tell me the D is for diesel, correct? If so, how common would it be to switch out a diesel engine for gas?

Someone pieced 2 tractors together to build one. The "D" is diesel indeed.

Thanks for the input! My hunch is that a dealer might have done the switchover, as there aren't tell-tale signs other than the SN.
