I mowed pastures for 4-5 hours yesterday. When driving to the fields I used both high and low range on the PD and everything worked fine. Finished mowing and going thru a gate I shifted to low range and nothing, put it back in high range and everything worked fine. Drove on the road to the house and shifted to low range for the driveway and nothing again. Went out this morning and with cold fluid low range worked fine again. My first thought was that it has something to do with the fluid viscosity. This  has never happened before and I didn't run the tractor long enough to warm up the fluid to see if it would do it again. Did check fluid level and it is full. Any ideas on where to look if it continues?

A 500 psi pressure gauge is your friend. Connect it to the low range port under the platform and check the pressure when it acts up. Memory says it should be around 250 psi when throttled up and it should be the same as high side.
