Looking for an alternator with tach drive, tach and choke cable, and gauges for a 170. Where's a good place to find this stuff? So much Chinese junk on the internet i would prefer to avoid. Thanks

Alternator with tach drive. DJS tractor has gauges, some OEM.

When I asked DJ's about their tachometers, he told me they were imported, but they had no complaints about them.

The 160's tachometer drive is not at the alternator. It is driven from the aft end of the camshaft. The 170 is alternator drive. Just letting you know they have at least one mistake.

Possibly a re-builder would be able to fix your alternator. I would try Agco to check for the other items.

If you need a tach repaired. Lookup Star Speedometer out of Florida. Haim Zeevi does great work and can keep your hours. 386-569-5284. He rebuilt two for me over the last year.

Howdy Josh, In Billings Montana, Generator Starter Shop has AC 170 alternators. Phone 406-252-7342 Yes they will send out to you . Was there this winter with my 170 alternator. Great shop to work with , they know their stuff.
