Actually I think that was the 4 wheel drive narrow front for D21. A steal at 10,000.00!

So, did anybody on here go to that auction.  Was thinkin of goin, but a light wallet, and 86 mile trip soon convinced me to stay home.  Also when the sale is all one color, the deeper pockets tend to show up...

I went. Over 400 mile round trip for me. And yes, I was there to bid on it for my 190XT. I soon found myself out of the race early. I am still in shock at the final price. I can tell you everyone was in shock and could not believe what had just happened in less than 5 minutes. It boiled down to 2 people that wanted it equally bad. I will stop at this point and congratulate the person that purchased it.

Ten grand just for the front pedestal?  Amazing, wonder if it was some kind of war between two guys who don't want to be out bid.

Buy it for $10000, put it on a nice $5000 to $7000 190 tractor and you have a $15000 to $17000 narrow front 190. I don't think that's out of line at all.

Sure am glad that I got my OneNinety narrow front when I did. Came from a few miles from that auction. Was thinking about going but 400 miles one way and just back from Australia changed my mind. Was the 10G just for the pedestal ? Was there a zipper front end to go with it? It takes both to install.
Nothing is impossible if it is properly financed

Agreed but it wasn't my money so more power to em. Wonder why someone isn't reproducing them, they wouldn't sell for near that but gotta be some $$ to be made if it could be done. Always thought that with D21 starter weights also.

Complete NF, zipper, pedestal, hydraulic lines. Yes, the final price was outrageous but I am not going to knock anyone that buys something they really want, no matter the cost. I’m just sad it doesn’t belong to me.

Why are these valuable? Pulling? Just rare? It seems like most tractors with narrow front are cheaper.

If you look at the older 190 front support casting, it could be finished off by fully machining the bores and other passages and bolt holes. The pistons and shaft/gear assembly would be much harder.  Might be able to graft in parts from an Oliver to fit inside the A-C casting ??  Then too, you'd have to find a pedestal and they are different than any other A-C.
