Finally got my second G crank back just now. They wouldn't turn the other one until I told them I could get .060 rod bearings. This one they turned to .040 on the rod journals. Never asked if I could get .040 rod bearings ! I haven't seen any listed on the many online stores I've looked. Just wondering if anyone here on the forum ever heard of .040 rod bearings or, by some miracle, has a set !

Warren, If nobody has them on here, I'm sure that you can get them from Continental Industrial Parts. They specilize in parts for the Continental engines. Bob

used to be you could get a bunch of different undersize bearings for bout any engine. Now days don't seem like you can find many .040 under bearings.

Found some .040's, very unbelieving of the price. Got the invoice in email when I got home. Got to call them back tomorrow to confirm it is a set for 4 rods and not just a set for one rod ! If it's for 4, their prices are rock bottom ! Will post tomorrow...

Was confirmed overnight, the price for a set of 4 .040 rod bearings for $49.20 + $14.20 S&H. I thought that was a really great price considering what I gave for .060's ! They are coming from Montes Equipment Inc. (Continental Industrial Engine Parts) in Chicago, Il . Mains aren't much different than I paid before but a couple dollars less.
