I recommend  Maple Hunter Decals. I have used them dozens of times and they have always been great. I have only used the die cut vinyl decals. I do not like mylar decals. They show multiple option for the B.

Also, what was the proper hood decal for 1939 B?

Google Lyle wacker decals and you will find the website. Lyle passed away, but Carol, and their son, I believe Steve, still will help you out. I recommend them and maple hunter-

I second Wacker. I bought a Farm Commando decal from them to put on my B. Looks really nice and was easy to apply.
