Does anyone have pictures or sales fliers that would show if Allis Chalmers built and sold horse drawn discs? I have started to restore a disc that has specks of orange paint in the rust. The searches I have done on different horse drawn discs does not bring up the exact design. They all have similar design because it is needed to work. I was not able to find an Allis Chalmers horse drawn disc. This one is all there and I can restore it back except for the scraper mounting bracket/frame that is gone. I watching all the youtube videos with horses disking I could find many of the discs do not have scrapers. I do know that many of the companies from that period are long gone and this disc could very well be from one of them.

Dunham disc's were painted a lighter orange.
Pre-WW2 A-C tractors on steel wheels...because I'm too cheap to buy tires!

Dunham is what it is. I found it under google trying Dunham. I had never thought about Dunham when searching. Here is the google picture.

What I bought to rebuild to a working disc. I was hoping it might be an Allis Chalmers.

I do plan on using it. Not to actually fit a seed bed though which would mean the disc would have to be set at a steep angle to cut deep enough. Set straight it can be pulled by hand.
Still mini's but I have a larger team I started last year. I didn't get pictures of them when in harness.

Dick, My Dad and Grandpa were a dealer for Dunham implements. Your disc may be older than what they sold but, I may have some of the wood block bearings still in our old parts bins.
I actually have a 10ft Dunham cultipacker that was never sold or assembled left over from when they sold them..

That would be something to keep under your bed for safe keeping.
  If your willing to sell the wood bearing blocks I will check with you when I get them opened up. The blade axle looks at a glance to only be around an inch in diameter.  I'll check that tomorrow.

Blissfield Michigan. The home of the black fox squirrels. It has been a few years since I was in Blissfield. I worked in Jonesville for over 8 years.

40 years ago when I would drive thru Blissfield all you would see is black squirrels. I would guess it would still the same as I have seen them in other surrounding towns in the last few years.

They're still around. It's fun to watch them walk on the overhead cable lines as you drive along side of them.

I remember seeing black squirrels in Marshall, Michigan back in the 50's.
