I have a stock 301D in a 190xt. Would like to bump up HP. I am reading that connecting rods may be a weak point. Could anyone give me input on what HP and boost they will hold up to? Thank you! |

| Always heard that they can't take much more than 45 lbs of boost, timing affects this too, don't go over 36 degrees,, |

| If you stick with your turned up Roosamaster and a little turbo upgrade you should be fine, I pulled the crap out of a 200 turned up like this for a few years and no problem,, could pull in 5th in the 9000 class, mostly 4th tho, never had power issues |

| 2 cents: get hardened rods and wile you have the pistons out get the sleeves cut for fire rings and sleep easy. maybe go as far as cut pistons and copper gaskets |
