Can anyone tell me if a 170 loader will fit on a 170 tractor?

I think the 170 loader was meant for the D17 tractor.  A tube design with a mechanical trip bucket.  Far too primitive for a 170 tractor.  Pay more and get a loader that is fully hydraulic.  I believe the 500 loader is what originally was on the 170.  Too bad you are so far away, I have a Dunham Lehr from my 175 that I am selling.

I have an operating instructions manual for the models 170 and 180 loaders. It states that the model 170 farm loader is designed to be mounted on D-17 or 170 tractors. It states that the model 180 farm loader is designed to be mounted on the 180 tractor, which makes sense as I have one mounted on my one-eighty. It is a trip bucket loader, but I sure get a lot of use out of it. Dad also had the same set up and he used the heck out of the one-eighty and 180 loader. Dave
