I let the front hubs on my AC130 get dry, and the bushings are shot along with both spindles.  I have part numbers for the spindles, but the front wheel bushings are not sold separately.  Has anyone matched these up to Simplicity bushings, of found a replacement somehwere else?  I really don't want to buy front tires and rims to get the bushings!

Did you get old ones out of rims? If so measure OD and ID and let us know. Most lawn mower shops have them in stock and can order odd sizes of them. Or you could buy new rim with replacement brgs. instead of bushings!

Simplicity's customer support folks gave me a part number -  1752171 - for the wheel bushings.  I'll find a local, hopefully competent, dealer and order them.

One more follow up - Simplicity says the replacement bushing is part number 1752171.  They also offer a bearing instead of a bushing, part number 7028722.

Hopefully this will help someone sooner or later.

I'm sure I'm the only guy who will ever forget to grease the front wheels... so I thought I would show the rest of you what it looks like when you fail to grease the front hubs.

The part number above for ball bearings worked perfectly.  By the way, it take 49 strokes of my grease gun to fill the front hubs.

Good to hear from you, Buddy!

Are you still working in Columbus?

My Daddy ALWAYS ask if you checked the oil and GREASED the tractor and all equipment. You knew it was his first question when he saw you! Ha!

Probably why I still have some of his AC equipment around, in use.....

an AC Friend,
Bruce
