We're currently in Gainesville FL on a charter bus headed for Orlando. Just me, Danielle, the girls, a few other chaperones, and a fair portion of the junior high band and chorus.  I've heard more cuss words in the last 6 hours on this bus then I did in machine shops. I've had to get right with a couple of them and they stared at me like I have 4 heads and replied "It's natural"???? JoeM, do you remember the horse laugh you gave me when you were leaving the show and I was standing in line so the girls could ride that stupid train? Now would be the perfect time for another.

Stay positive and have fun, you and the rest of the chaperones have the privilege of being a great roll model for these young adults, if you need to get their attention do like they do at FFA events and shout "Red Robin" and wait for their response...yumm..then proceed. It may take a couple attempts but the smart ones will chime right in.

One of them that I got right with has a perfect sitting about 2 rows in front of me. There's no way he didn't hear it but never turned. I "politely" told them even if they didn't have enough respect for themselves to not talk that way they should at least have enough for the women and young ladies around them. It might have had an effect because it has settled some from those two. Just maybe

I kinda wish you were on this trip. I had to tell on the two boys because when we got on the bus to leave Universal and come to the hotel they were discussing giving oral pleasure for $20 loud enough that two girls sitting in front of me turned around and said "what did you say?"

This doesn't and won't work in your setting... but... My grand niece took up school bus driving about 2 years ago... I asked her how she handles the high-schoolers and she said 'oh they aren't the problem, it's the young ones... When they start fighting, I just pull over and pull out my phone and start searching through the web and sit there on the side of the road... the high schoolers want to get home so they get up and straighten out the young ones and when they get done, I just put the phone away and off we go.' Usually nobody is reported and life just goes on. LOL Good Luck there, Thendrix.

And we're off again. Being a chaperone I have a list of room assignments. There are a few I can't tell if they're boys or girls so I guessed. Got 1 out of 4. It's not because they dress funny or identify as this it that, it's because they're boys with long hair and, them being young, they looked like girls. Danielle keeps saying "now you know why I quit teaching"

Finally got home last night about 10. Those kids must have been tired because that bus was QUIET. On the way down you could barely think. On the way back the only people taking we're the chaperones . It was a pretty decent trip but I've seen enough for a while. My girls have to get up and go to school today and they're already about 15 minutes late and just have got up

Tyler, glad you didn't go from chaperone to inmate. I don't think I could handle a bunch of kids on a bus these days.
