The brass elbow on top of my turbo is leaking I have it as tight as I can and still have it pointing the right way for the oil line. Is there something I could use that's oil and heat proof to seal it with? Thanks

Double check where oil come up & out at threads into turbo housing OR is the fitting itself cracked OR at threads the line couples with? I've seen all 3 leak, have used 1 1/2 wrap of teflon sealing tape on male thread w/ no isssues.

If it's coming from the pipe threads, it needs some kind of goop or thread tape on the threads and brake kleen both the hole and the male threads before assembly. And it has to be tight enough !!

Is it safe to use regular pipe tape with it going into the turbo? Fully tight puts the outlet of the elbow where the line will not work

Regular teflon tape. Just be sure to keep back from edge of thread so none can get into oil.

Can't get the tube connected to it ?? Why? orientation wrong ?? tighten it more. Too far down to not be able to connect the tube ?? Get a NEW elbow fitting that has new threads and it will sit up a little higher.

The bad part about pipe threads and a 90* fitting. Aimed right almost hand tight, by the time you make another round it gets so tight you feel like it'll break! If you use tape, use caution too. It's so slick it'll turn easier.

every one is right, i would try a new fitting and use loctite 545 hydralic and phenmatic sealer is some very good stuff for some of those problem npt fittings it has high solids in it and is rated for extreme temps if its assembled clean and it can set for a day it can handle 2000psi , but it disasembles like red 270 loctite 545 might only be available through an industrial supplyer like grainger . also if you have a cracking in your female threads it might take it up.
