I have a broken equalizer pin on my hd11e. Took the clutch tank off and pulled the front part of the pin out, but the back half it stuck. Has anyone got a trick to pulling it out? I build a puller but no luck yet.

I don't remember what is behind it, how much is left? how deep is it? If it is open on the back side sometimes you can burn a hole through the center of a stuck pin then quench it and it will come out without much work. If you can't reach it with a torch an airarc works well, be prepared for lots of blow back.   Tad

At the back of the pin there is a pivot pin retaining plate ,held by 2 1/2 inch cap screws on the pin and 1  capscrew on the crossmember. you should be able to drive the pin back  and out, or push it through to the front with the weight off it. this pin is common from the HD9 to the late 11B'S

I built a puller that attaches to the 2- 1/2” bolt holes. After replacing the 2x4s with square tubing, and heat from a rosebud and a 4lb hammer I got it to move 1 1/2”. Do they all come out this hard? When it goes back in it’s getting anti seize. I have no idea why it would break where it did anyways. It broke 3” into the tube. Having a machine shop make one out of 4140 steel shaft.

Are you sure you have relieved all the pressure, on that pin?  If it still has weight/tension on it, in some way, it may get dangerous, as it comes out...

The front piece of pin that was in the equalizer pulled out easily with a pry bar. I ended up hooking a chain and a 4x8 hydraulic cylinder to it and the drawbar and got it pulled out.

Yes 4140 would be what I would use for a new pin
