Were there any factory high crop D15 series 2 diesels made? if so roughly what is one worth that jumps out of gear, needs brakes, and does not run right?

No "Allis" highcrops made factory. There were "high clearance" models Allis made but those were primarily out west. Thomson did do some conversions. Diesels are a little more less common but if they don't run right you might have a bag of worms and other issues that will be very expensive to fix. Transmissions 2nd and 3rd are notorious for being bad. Another costly repair especially if you don't know how to do it yourself.
Can't fix stupid

If "Diesels are a little more less common" then what is a lot less more common - Kerosene OR Gas ?
