This is what I use. Horse drawn John Deere. Built between 1910-1914. Still works good. Opener digs a trench about 3" wide, seed drops down chute, closer discs cover seed with 2-4" of dirt.

'53 WD, '53 WD45, WD snap coupler field cultivator, #53 plow,'53 HD5B dozer

Duct tape.... Can't fix stupidity. But will muffle the sound of it!
