Decided to Install a 3pt hitch on the D 15 Diesel.

The snap coupler was rusted solid.
Lots of work to get the drawbar off.
Had to use the torch to remove the pin, installed a new spring.

Mounted a stump grinder, tried it out for short time the other day seems to work fine.

Looks like high crop wheels, possibly homemade, with original 24" spinouts, in the center.  Whatever the source, a neat job!Wink

They are Oxnard wheels. Made in California for cultivating applications.

You rent out that stump grinder?

With two D15II units with factory 3-pt., I much prefer the D15II SC unit with one of the OEM 3-pt. adaptors I picked up over the years. Much more stout IMO as no worries about underside bolting on OEM 3-pt. tractors where the 3-pt. attaches to the rear end. I do not turn ground with the 3-pt. adaptor but it has put in thousands of hours with brush cutters (both an A-C 5' and a heavy Bush Hog 6' unit), fed round bales for years and also used on a 1300+ pound Brillion unit post seeding.
Good idea to check the bushings in the OEM adaptors as they do wear and bushings/bolts can be replaced. The original crank adjusters are a tad light (adjusting crank handle) and I adjusted mine years ago by engaging most threads for strength (lubed em' and threaded them in with a large pipe wrench) as I run tall tires on the SC D15 w/ 2-position rims.
Surprises me how well the OEM top link brackets were made as both the single hole and three hole brackets have held up incredibly well over the years (good iron/good welds) but a fella should keep an eye on the front bolts where the bracket attaches under the seat pedestal. D15II is a very handy unit, that thinks it is a bigger tractor than it is!

The 7020 has run, but it has been awhile,
It needs a lot of work the brake lines are rusted and leak for one thing.
When I bought the 7020 high crop, I paid to much for it.
As other have said the D 15 is Oxnard high crop.
The 26" rim have 42" rims welded over them and the front knees are taller.
My dad bought the stump grinder.
