What size is the fuse?  Should be 20 amps.  IF any extra lights were added, the extra load will blow the fuse.  Used to happen on our 175 before we removed the extra non-original lights.
If not, check to see that it's not grounding out anywhere.

Unplug them before they go up into finders. If ok, unhook each light one at a time.    MACK

It is 20 amp fuse and no extra lights only 2 head lights not 4. If it is short why does it not blow fuse when tractor is not running

It's not going to short out when there is no current flowing through the wires.

A wire is bare some where, causing it to ground from vibration with motor running.
Had a similar problem with oil lift. Would come on past 1/2 throttle. Wire was pinched under hood. Grounded from vibration.     MACK

I understand there is no current when light switch is not on. I can turn on lights and they work and do not blow fuse. When I start tractor and turn lights on fuse blows. Sorry if I am not clear. Thanks for all help. I will try to work on it tomorrow.

Thanks for all feedback found problem and it is working great now. When I rewired tractor 2 wires were switched around. 2 wires go to key and 2 wires go to start button had them reversed so it always blew fuse.

you're sure not the first to do an "oops" on the rewiring.
don't even ask how I know that. Confused

glad you worked it out.
3 Ford 8N's I loan to neighbors, but the '52CA, '41B and little B1 I do not.
