I bought a belly blade that was sold separate from the tractor. The tractor was a Simplicity 5212. Will this blade just fit these smaller mowers, or will it fit the large frame tractors too?

Pre-WW2 A-C tractors on steel wheels...because I'm too cheap to buy tires!

I don't know, but if you don't find out on this forum soon, go to Simpletractors.com. Lots and lots of Simplicity folks on there.

a 5212 is quite a bit different than the large and small frame tractors that Simplicity offered belly blades for.  That being said, they are about as simple as any attachment can be, and I've seen them adapted to almost every brand and size of lawn/garden tractors.

Bought an ac belly blade a few years ago.  Love it.  Have used it on my 1920 Deutz.  Only problemis the foot rest is wider so it is harder to stand on to dig more.  The tractors with narrower foot rests are great.  As stated earlier, it is a very symple attachment.
