Slowly getting her back together. Last week we got the transaxle bolted to the frame and installed the new electric lift.
Friday I got some color on the hood and wheels but there was a problem with the paint so I will redo it this week. The engine was back in the frame yesterday for the first time in three years which was a great feeling. This week I'm ordering the front tires and maybe next weekend she will be standing on her own again. Edited by Randy Richesin - 23 Nov 2014 at 11:33am |

Good work in bringing this tractor back to original condition. I haven't worked on any Allis garden tractors. Have done a couple Cub Cadets and its as much work as doing a full size tractor. Kind of kick myself for giving my dad's Allis 110 away.

It has taken some time but we have finally started re-assembling our 416. This was an Ebay find I bought for $150 for my sons and I to rebuild. We mowed with it for a year before the engine demanded a rebuild so we decided to completely redo it.
We started with this: Then it went to this: Finally making some progress and adding some color: Finally bringing it home Friday to start reassembly: |
