416 Rebuild

Slowly getting her back together. Last week we got the transaxle bolted to the frame and installed the new electric lift.
Friday I got some color on the hood and wheels but there was a problem with the paint so I will redo it this week. The engine was back in the frame yesterday for the first time in three years which was a great feeling. This week I'm ordering the front tires and maybe next weekend she will be standing on her own again.

Good work in bringing this tractor back to original condition. I haven't worked on any Allis garden tractors. Have done a couple Cub Cadets and its as much work as doing a full size tractor. Kind of kick myself for giving my dad's Allis 110 away.

It has taken some time but we have finally started re-assembling our 416. This was an Ebay find I bought for $150 for my sons and I to rebuild. We mowed with it for a year before the engine demanded a rebuild so we decided to completely redo it.
We started with this:

Finally making some progress and adding some color:



Finally bringing it home Friday to start reassembly:
