I'm looking at a TL14. Can anyone tell me anything about the torque converter setup that uses some sort of tire? Owner says the tire is shot, is that something that is available or am I not going to find anything to replace it? I'm not going to buy it if I can't get parts. Thanks for any help!

The late TL12's had a shuttle type trans, it had a tire in a container bolted to the fly wheel the hub had the U/J connected to the trans. On my TL12 we sometimes sheared the valve stem and had to remove the tire assembly to replace the tube, by memory I think we used to jack the motor up abit to get clearance to remove it, it was about the size of a wheelbarrow tire. the late TL14 did not have this setup it had a torque convertor transmission similar to the later articulated loaders
