I have a allis chalmers fp60-24 and having a hard time figuring out the year and what motor it has in it. It's a gas 6cyl and I'm thinking a buda 230 or 262. I rebuilt the zenith carb and got it running and rebuilt the cylinders but it smokes so I'm trying to find a rebuild kit for it. Also this shows lift capacity at 6k, 7k or 5200 depending on center. Now one numb stamped does look to be a date code of 6 3 63 the way it's spaced out. The other number below it looks like 45128 80. Any help will be great thanks

How can I tell if it's the 230 or 262 engine ? I posted the only numbers I could find on the block. And what's you number as soon as I move my cnc vertical machine this weekend I'm going to be ready to rebuild this engine.
