I think that you are right. I couldn't remember the number. I got that other number off of a battery website, but it didn't sound right to me. Thanks for your help!

I just priced a 22NF at NAPA $107.00....local farm store was $69.00 but they were out of them, I think I will wait until they get some in.

i bought a 720 6 years ago, had a new TSC battery in it. Can you believe that it still starts the tractor after 6 years. Have no idea who makes their battery but I will buy another one when this one finally gives up.

I buy all mine from TSC.  The 7117 I picked up this weekend has a battery dated 2008, and it has stayed strong since it showed up.  Not sure what my oldest is, of the 2 dozen or so around here.

Batteries Plus handles Deka batteries. Also I see that Deka is suppling batteries to NAPA.
I wonder how the price compares.

Deka batteries are really good. Used to get them at my local Carquest store. But I can't get them there any longer since Advance Auto bought out Carquest 2 years ago even thou it is still called Carquest. I was told there are only 4 battery manufactures in the US and they make batteries for all those other companies to their specs.
Funny how OEM batteries seam to last longer. I bought 2 Dodge Ram trucks new and each one the battery lasted at least 8 years.
