Anyone wishing to be a vendor at the GOTO at the MMOGTA in Oakley , Michigan in August needs to contact Brad Lab, as he is the chairman in charge of the flea market and vendors. His contact number is 989-723-5546. The earlier that you can make arrangements with Brad the better, but June 1st is the deadline. Number of vendors at show and their space requirements will be used to determine vendor placement, so please confirm early. We want to be able to accommodate many vendors and lots of tractors and equipment.

Dave, This is David from DJS Tractor Parts LLC ,As you may or may not know their could be up to 30 + vendors show up that are not accustomed to signing up in advance at any of the gathering of the Orange events. as in the case of the one last year in INDIANA. The club only new of 3 or 4 contacts the week prior to the show and they ended up with 30+ vendors and a couple hundred Allis tractors and equipment. But they also had the space to stage them all together in one area. The Oakley Club does not have the space in side the fenced in grounds to handle the area needed. Most of vendors don't use the internet, follow this forum or even get the OLD ALLIS News the just show up at the show. Some will be coming from as faraway as Minnesota, Iowa, and Missouri.

I will try and contact as many as I can and come up with a list, but again I don't know all of them or have their contact information.

Very few realize the turnout of both vendors and exhibitors at the GOTO's. I applaud you David Collin, for taking the initiative you do!!! The Allis people are a great bunch, and come from all over the world to these events, and many of the host clubs are overwhelmed and totally unprepared for what takes place.  Clap

David, have you ever actually been a vendor at MMOGTA, or attended one of our annual shows? I was at the Indiana GOTO last year, and the MMOGTA showground has probably double the area inside our fences that the club in Indiana had. We have no problem accommodating 30+ AC vendors. We just need to know how many are coming so that we can keep them together. Since you don't know all the vendors that might show up, how do you know that they don't use the internet, or follow this forum, or that they don't receive Old Allis News? If that is the case, how do they know when or where a GOTO is held? It is hard for me to believe that vendors drive across several states to get to a show where they haven't reserved a space to do business. The June 1st deadline should leave plenty of time for people to make their plans and reservations.

What about some of us that have a few extra parts to sell, but are not in the business of traveling from show to show??  Do we still need to register if we want to "tailgate" a few parts??
Pre-WW2 A-C tractors on steel wheels...because I'm too cheap to buy tires!

Dave,Been to the show a dozen times over the years and made a special trip there last year to scope out the spaces to handle the tractors and vendors that might be expected at a gathering of the Orange and didn't see very much space, and talking to a couple vendors that have talked to Brad Lab there isn't a hole lot of space ALL together in one spot for the tractor, equipment, and vendors. Will call Brad and get an update as to what plans he has.
