Looks like one of the many 720 light duty spindle axles I've seen over the years. Or am I missing something?

I had a guy do the same for me on my last $500 720. It is nice when people stay true to their word.

Not all of the 720's came with the heavy front spindles. I know the 720 Special did, but so did other non-Special models. I own one. Never been repainted and never taken apart. I think it has to do with the year of production and/or whatever parts they had in stock at the time.

What all was different between the "720 Special" and a regular 720 AC other then the front axle? Never heard of the Special version of the tractor though.

The 720 Special did not have rear 3 point, or rear PTO shaft from the motor. (Those were options).  It was primarily for front end loader use, or for someone that wanted a lower cost tractor to run a mower deck, front blade, etc. and not be concerned about running any rear attachments.  (more info and brochures copied on Simpletractors.com)

It was offered pretty much for just mowing, found out it is a 620, why 720 decal I'm not sure but is a 620. I have pictures of it on Simple tractors after a good wash job .

Nate glad you did, just being smart but I was first caller and gentleman was true to his word even though several had called and offered him more. WE need more like him, 250 mile drive and I sure would have been pissed to get there and found out he sold off from under me. Turns out to be a pretty decent tractor everything works and I've all ready made several changes all documented under Show and Tell on Simpletractors .com . I've not be able to post pictures here ?

I think even the standard axle like this, and on my 620, is still built a lot heavier than anything else that was available at the time these tractors were manufactured.

The guy I bought it from didnt care about much of anything. He was hard on stuff. The weights will most likely be for sale. Get in line. They are a popular piece. Lol

What are you asking for tractor ? Weights as you've probably realized are a rare item.
