Announcing the New Unofficial Allis Forum
After more than a decade of questions and answers, jokes and opinions, I have decided to bring to a conclusion this manifestation of the forum.  Since this is a platform I developed from scratch, it is not an easy thing for me to pull the plug on.  But as the gap between what this forum can do and what commercially available systems can do has widened, and my available time for maintenance and improvements has dwindled, it has become increasingly clear that it was time to make a change.

The current plan is to disable new posts in this forum sometime next week.  It will be kept online for several months in a read only mode after that.  The new forum is installed and ready for you to register and begin posting immediately.  Here are just a few the new forums features;

  • Individual user accounts with profiles and private messaging capabilities.
  • Integrated image uploading.
  • Email notifications.
  • Multiple forum areas for all types of discussions.

There will be a learning curve to the new forum, but I am convinced the transition will be worth it in the long run.
Everyone enjoy and Thank You for your support.  Darin Stratton
