With all of this beautiful weather we have been getting a fair amount done on the weekends. For the first time in my 37 years we made hay in November! It was also the first hay we made this year that didn't get rained on!
The CA got a good workout pulling this load out of the field! I plowed up a few acres for next years oats/hay field. We don't moldboard much anymore, just in cases we need to bury the trash. |

Love the all Allis line up! Glad to see a baler still in use. I'm looking for a plow like that. Nice display of AC heritage.

Great pictures. I remember Dad and I making some hay over thanksgiving weekend. Only happened once that i can remember. But you know our grass in the yard could be mowed again. And its supposed to be 60+ degrees by the end of the week too.
What a nice line of Allis equipment you have! Regards, Chris |

Jim, please share where the steps on the 185 came from, or were they custom made? Every pic is a winner for sure and nice to see the A-C line working.

What the hell you use to call when you would plow, just because I took the D15 from you the last time I was up for plow day and wouldn't give it back don't mean you have to stay mad is long. That alright I couldn't have come anyways. In 266 working day and I'll be a free man to do what I want to do (or what the better half tell me to do dam maybe I should just kept working ) Hope the better half is doing good, it just don't seem like you should be a daddy we try to tell you don't say I DO but you just would listen to your elders. Take care my friend and will see you some one of these day. Kenny L.

Great pictures. I spent many hours in front of that same plow with the 7045 doing the pulling back in the day. Brings back good memories.

Thanks everyone for the comments! Except Kenny!
Mike, believe me when you find yourself an 8000 series you will know it is worth the wait! The steps on the 185 are steps from a Full Vision cab that was on a One-Ninety. They are about as nice as you want and it makes it a lot easier to climb on and off it. We need to brace the right side more but don't use it too much. I will try to attach some more pictures of them. Here is the style of cab they came off of, this is our XT. |

Probably the first time you ever baled hay in a winter coat and knit hat!
Nice equipment, I'm jealous! |

Looks GREAT Jim! I've been asking this question quite often lately.....
"WHAT state am I in and WHAT month is this??" Now you just leave poor Kenny alone....he's just trying to be helpful. Kinda... Three of my favorite smells......FRESH cut hay, FRESH plowed ground and FRESH thrown manure. |

Thanks again guys.
The CA is not mine, it belongs to my Cousin who is running the 185 on the baler as this last crop of hay was for his meat goats. Jim |
